Your data, your Drive

Backups are saved in a folder in your own Google Drive. The app can only see the files it creates — never the rest of your Drive.

A few things you might be wondering.

Is it really free?

Yes. Your backups live in your own Google Drive, so there's no storage bill for us to pass on. No plans, no limits, no upgrades.

Can the app see my other Google Drive files?

No. The app uses Google's most limited Drive permission: it can only see and change files it created itself, inside its own backup folder.

What happens if I uninstall?

Backups stop, and the backup folder stays in your Google Drive. Nothing is deleted. The files are readable with standard tools.

Can I restore orders?

Orders are backed up in full and can be exported any time, but Shopify doesn't allow apps to recreate past orders, so they can't be restored.
